The Chambers have public galleries to sit members of the public.

How do I get this service?

The service is obtained when:

Parliament is sitting as follows:Official Opening Meeting (State of the Nation Address presented by His excellency the President) - November to December

Sitting hours:

  • 1400hrs to 1800hrs on Monday to Thursday
  • 0900hrs to 1230hrs on Fridays

Budget Meeting (Presentation of the Budget Speech by the Minister of Finance and Economic Development) - February to April

Sitting hours:

  • 1400hrs to 1800hrs on Monday to Thursday
  • 0900hrs to 1230hrs on Fridays

Winter/General Meeting (Discuss general issues) - July to August

Sitting hours:

  • 1400hrs to 1800hrs on Monday to Thursday
  • 0900hrs to 1230hrs on Fridays

Ntlo ya Dikgosi is sitting as follows:

General meetings - January, June and October

Sitting Hours:

  • 0900hrs to 1630hrs on Monday to Fridays
  • 1400hrs to 1630hrs on Wednesdays
