In line with Government Policy Reform 2015 , 3(b): Affirmative Action in favour of youth, the Ministry has developed a database for registration of youth contractors and individual youth with vocational skills.

Who is eligible?

All Batswana youth contractors and individuals with vocational skills. Youth refers to people below the age of 35. 

How do I get this service?

You visit any Ministry Infrastructure sector out stations across the country. The Youth office at the Ministry headquarters also registers the said youth companies and individuals. 

What supporting documents are required?

Companies

  • Company profile
  • PPADB certificate
  • Copy of school certificate
  • References
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Copy of tax clearance
  • Any other supporting documents for the company
  • Particulars for staff employed
  • Bank letter

Individuals with vocational skills

  • Copy of school certificate
  • Copy of valid national identity card (Omang)
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • References
How long will this service take?

The registration does not take time. Once all documents are availed, the company or individual are registered the same day.

Where can I obtain this service?

At all Ministry Infrastructure sector out stations across the country. The Youth office at the Ministry headquarters's office in Gaborone also registers the said youth companies and individuals.
